CLUBS
CRICKET
Hingham Cricket Club were reformed in 1986 and since then has gone from strength to strength.Should you wish to join our weekly nets practice, these are held every Thursday evening from 6.30pm throughout the cricket season, commencing from Mid-April.
PICKLEBALL
At Hingham we have an ever-growing band of Pickleball players. Our sessions are for players aged 16 - 105+.
Our Indoor games are played using the three badminton courts in the Hingham Sports Hall.
TENNIS
We have two floodlit hard courts surfaced with non-slip porous macadam, and a fantastic 'Tennis Hut' club premises adjacent to the courts for players and spectators. Our aim is to make Hingham Tennis a welcoming, inclusive club that will appeal to tennis enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.
ARCHERY
Hingham Bowmen formed back in 2009 after a series of evening classes held on the sports hall field. We shoot in the hall between the months of September and March (Friday at 6:30pm), then over at Scoulton during the summer months.
SHORT MAT BOWLS
The Hingham Short Mat Bowls Club was formed in 1990. We have 45 members and bowl 3 times per week and social events during the year.
AG HINGHAM
AG Athletic football club has now completely moved to Hingham to become AG Hingham. We are providing 2 mens’ football teams playing at the social club -our Saturday team is brand new and play in the CSN league while the Sundays, who are now in their 5th year, play in the Sunday Premier Division
BADMINTON
Badminton is held on Wednesday night's 7.30pm until 9pm at the sports hall. We are a non competitive club we welcome all players 16 years and above. Cost is £5.00 per session.
JUDO
Classes at Hingham Sports Hall are run by Wymondham Judo Club which is a BJA registered club with several experienced and fully qualified coaches. The Hingham classes are usually lead by the clubs head coach and Hingham resident, John Ellis. John is a 5th Dan black belt, a National C level referee, former GB squad member and international competitor.
NORFOLK OVER 60’s SHORT MAT BOWLS
Norfolk Over 60’s is one of the most active short mat bowls groups in the country for senior bowlers.For just £5 bowlers can enjoy a day of short mat competition with teas, coffees and biscuits included.Anyone over the age of 60 who is interested in joining in the fun can find details of the Over 60’s Squad day dates at Hingham on the shortmatnorfolk website.
LINE DANCING
Line dancing with Fliss fridays 1.30pm - 3.30pm Admission £7 great way to exercise and have fun, Refreshments
